Photo Questions

What photo formats do you recommend for my personalized product?

You may upload your proprietary photos in the following formats: PDF, JPG, JPEG, TIF, TIFF, EPS, AI, SVG, and PNG.

What does it mean that my photo is below the minimum requirements?

It means that your image may be too small for the photo product you are ordering which can result in a grainy or pixilated image on your item. Black and white images should have a resolution of 600 dpi (dots per inch) or higher. All other images should have a resolution of 300 dpi or higher. Since the overall appearance of your item is highly dependent on the quality of your photos, it is important to use the original and unedited photos; attempting to resize the photo may distort the image quality. If you have a photo under the minimum requirement, we recommend that you select a different photo in a larger size.

Will my photos be edited or adjusted?

Your photo(s) will be reproduced as it appears on your product preview and in the photo quality submitted.
We do adjustments or edits per costumer request.
Additional charge will be applied. (Hourly rate is $80.00)

Is there a limit to the number of photos that I can store in my account?

You are welcome to store an unlimited number of photos in your account.

Is there a size limit for each of my photos?

You can upload up to 2GB at a time.

Will my photos be edited or adjusted?

The photos that you upload to your account will be stored for 2 weeks. After that time period your photo(s) are automatically removed from your account.

What is print ready artwork?

In order to provide the best print quality for your products and avoid design and setup fees we recommend that you follow the guidelines below:

1) INCLUDE A BLEED
The bleed is the portion of the product that is trimmed off when it is cut to the final size.
Bleed ensure that the design continues past the final trim size to prevent imperfections from possible cutting shifts.
With the exception of banners, we require ALL
print files to be created with the full bleed dimensions specified for each trim size. After printing, we trim the bleed off each edge, resulting in the desired trim size.

2) REMOVE BORDERS
We do not recommend borders around the perimeter of your design due to possible shifting in the cutting process, which may cause borders to appear uneven. Pleas allow a cushion around your design to allow for possible shifts in cutting.

3) HIGH RESOLUTION
All file formats must have a minimum of 300 dpi
(dots per inch) resolution. Images designed for the web have a low screen resolution of 72 dpi. Print images need to be created at 300 dpi or higher or there will be a substantial drop in the image quality.

4) CMYK COLOR MODE
All color artwork and/or images must be provided in CMYK color mode, unless otherwise stated. All black and white artwork and/or images must be provided in grayscale.

5) FONTS & DETAILS
Fonts must be embedded in PDF files. Please note that some fonts may not embed due to copyright restrictions. Embed all images and outlined all text in illustrator or vector files. Expand all fills and strokes. Flatten all layers when working in Photoshop.

Ordering

How do I Personalize a Print Order?

Relax and enjoy the process! We’ve created an easy process for you to follow when ordering your very own personalized print items. Our simple online ordering system allows you to customize and preview your products before completing your order. By clicking on any product, you will be directed to that item’s product detail page which features all of that product’s information. Once there, you can begin the personalization process.

Will my actual printed product look exactly as I see it the computer monitor during the personalization process?

Because the computer monitor or printer you use to view our invitations may not be color calibrated to produce an accurate color representation, slight color adjustments may occur. For exact color matching, we recommend that you first visit our print house to select actual color swatches to ensure your complete satisfaction. Note: Please proof your items carefully during the personalization process. Your order is in process immediately after you submit it; any changes to your product(s) will result in reprinting costs. Be sure to verify all of your information and spelling, as we will print exactly what you submit.

How long will it take to produce my order?

With very few exceptions, most orders will be completed with 2-3 business days. We offer same day and rush services for an additional fee.

May I place my order by phone rather than online? Can you help me with questions?

Yes, you may place your order via phone during our normal business hours. Please call 805-577-1500. We can assist you with your order and questions: Monday – Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. or you can send us an email: info@bezigndesign.com.

Which credit cards do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept checks, cash, and money orders for local business orders.

How should I determine sales tax on my order?

Your actual state and local sales tax is applied to your order during checkout.

Is this site secure?

This site has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information that is given to us by our customers. We have an SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) connection to wherever we ask you for personal information such as name, address, credit card number, etc. SSL is fully supported by all browsers.

Can I make changes to my product after I have submitted my order?

Your satisfaction is extremely important to us! We will do our best to make your changes before your order is processed, however, due to our fast turnaround time, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to intercept or change any order once it has reached the production stage. We strongly advise that you make sure your order is correct before placing it. If we are able to catch the order before we process it, there will be a $20.00 charge for each part of the order to make the change. If the order has been printed, there will be the $30.00 charge plus a percentage of the order. Please call us at 805-577-1500 for assistance.

What is your Return Policy?

At Bezign, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and experience. We hope that your expectations will be exceeded by our quality and service. If you are not satisfied with your finished product, please follow the steps outlined below so we can resolve the situation.

Return Policy for Personalized Items
If you are dissatisfied with your personalized items, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order. We will work with you to resolve the issue quickly. If your order arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, we will gladly replace the damaged or defective item.
It is your responsibility to review your order and confirm that it is correct before submitting it to us. Your order is specifically made for you, and therefore Bezign cannot accept returns or refunds of personalized products if the dissatisfaction is not due to an error by Bezign. For instance, Bezign cannot refund personalized product(s) if the quality issue is due to:

  • Typographical errors, misspelled words or name, incorrect grammar, unfinished text, or other material provided by the user.
  • Low quality or blurry photographs provided by the user.
  • Design or creative choices. Please be sure you are satisfied with the color combinations, photographs and overall layout of your products before submitting your order.

Please note that each order you submit is completed in-house by Bezign or by one of Bezign’s professional printing partners. If you are ordering multiple copies of the same product, you are strongly encouraged to order all copies as part of one order to minimize variations in color. We calibrate our printers and work hard to keep the final products as consistent as possible, but slight variances in color may occur. Color or binding variations are normal occurrences and will not be considered manufacturing defects or deficiencies and will not qualify for replacement of product(s).

We only ship within the continental United States. If there is a concern your order will not arrive in time for a deadline or special event, please contact us before you place the order and we will work with you to arrange rush printing and delivery whenever possible. Additional charges may apply for rush service. While we expect all deliveries to be made on time, weather and geographic locations may prevent delivery as guaranteed.
